Magic paint:A picture is drawn on drawing paper with a candle. Children are told that this picture will be a magic picture. Then, the painting paper is painted with watercolor. As the children paint, the picture drawn with the candle is revealed. Because the candle is oily, it cannot be painted with watercolor. Thus, the magic paint appears.My students were very happy with this work. At first, they did not understand why they did it with candles. .Then they were very interested.

Symmetry paint:What is symmetry to children? is explained. Then, colored dyes are prepared with dye and water. The picture paper is folded in half. Paint is dripped on one side of the painting paper. Then the painting paper is folded in half. Paint drops create symmetry to the opposite side. Talk to the children about the shapes formed and what they look like.
