         <description><![CDATA[<div>They are skilled creatures who have many talents of their own, however in the Odyssey, they’re disregarded due to their appearance.&nbsp;In the story, Polyphemus often brings up lots of his pride, thinking he's on a higher level compared to gods or the fate of the future. The Cyclopes believed that since they didn't need to rely on the gods and immortals for survival, they were better than everyone else. In the end, they face the consequences that came with their egotistical minds.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
