Nebula
A) Nebula looks like a star encased in a globe of luminescent fog.

B) Nebulas are made of dust and gases mostly hydrogen and helium. Eventually, the clump of dust and gas gets so big that it collapses from its own gravity. The collapse causes the material at the center of the cloud to heat up and this hot core is the beginning of a star.

C)The first planetary nebula to be discovered was the Dumbbell Nebula, M27, by Charles Messier in 1764.

D) nebula that is visible to the human eye from Earth would appear larger, but no brighter, from close by.

E) nebulas have a surface brightness 1,000 times larger.

F) They are about 10,000

G) Nebulae are also considered nurseries as this is where stars are created, or born.
