Pulse Oximetry: This measures the amount of oxygen present in the blood. As per the usual doctor visit, a small device is clamped onto a finger, which then uses red light to scan the blood for oxygen presence.

Treatment: Depending on the type of pneumonia one has, most cases of pneumonia can be treated at home.
