<title>How students read, take notes, or monitor their reading and comprehension is not as important as whether they did indeed comprehend the reading. As long as students can accurately identify the speaker of the quote (Aristotle&#39;s father), the recipient of the quote (Aristotle), the reason the quote was said (to demonstrate to Aristotle that his father used to also have nightmares), what was meant by the quote (that Aristotle&#39;s father also feels afraid and sad sometimes), the events leading up to the quote (Aristotle has just spent the past several days in bed with a terrible flu and haunted by nightmares), and at least one textual example that backs up their answers, they will have demonstrated comprehension.</title>
