         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sakura <br><strong>Where todays action begins:</strong> Chapter two begins in the bunkhouse of the ranch that they have just arrived in.<br>"The bunkhouse was a long, rectangular building." (Pg: 17)<br><br><strong>Where key events happen:<br></strong>The key events in chapter two in the bunk house also. In chapter two, the story takes place in the bunkhouse the whole time.<br>"George got up and went over Lennie's bunk and sat down on it." (Pg: 29)<br>This quote is when George goes and sits where Lennie is and they talks about Curley.<br><br>"She was suddenly apprehensive. "Bye, boys," she called into the bunk house, and she hurried away." (Pg: 32)<br>Curley's wife says this when she was looking for Curley. Right after she leave the bunkhouse, Lennie says that she is pretty and George gets mad at Lennie.<br><br><strong>Where todays event ends:<br></strong>Chapter two ends when Lennie and George goes out of the bunkhouse to get their food.<br>"George said, ... "Come one. They won't be a damn thing left to eat." They went out the door." (Pg: 37)<br><br>Chapter two also ends when the book talks about when the dog walked into the bunkhouse.<br>"After a moment the ancient dog walked lamely in through the open door."          <description><![CDATA[<div>Sakura,Kyoungmin,Kate and Sooa <br><br>In this book, all the characters symbolises something.<br><br><strong>Lennie- </strong>Symbolises people who are mistreated and discriminated because of their mental illness.<br><br><strong>George- </strong>Symbolises a person who goes through daily difficulty. He is symbolised as "everymen".<br><br><strong>Curley's wife- </strong>Symbolises Eve (From Adam and Eve). She is a character brings sin and death to the world. She also represents all women who are living in a male-centered society.<br><br><strong>Curley- </strong>Symbolises "small" people. People who are overcompensate by showing their power or status.<br><br><strong>Candy- </strong>Symbolises people who are discriminated because of their age.<br><br><strong>Carlson- </strong>Symbolises people who are obvious about their feelings. (He said that the dog smelled bad and did not like it)<br><br><strong>Slim- </strong>Symbolises a type of hero.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
