To be able to investigate historical questions by employing reading strategies such as sourcing, contextualizing, corroborating, and close reading. Instead of memorizing historical facts, students evaluate the trustworthiness of multiple perspectives on historical issues and learn to make historical claims backed by documentary evidence.

Thinking like a Historian to me is finding connections between all sources from the past to understand the process of how things came to be. To do this there are fundamental skills that are utilized in this inquiry and I agree that a great deal of curiosity is needed. Critical thinking skills, being able to look at a source critically and to corroborate with other sources. To also see the connections between different disciplines.
