The invasion of Poland was deemed intolerable by many nations. Meanwhile, the USSR (Soviet Union) invaded Poland as a joint operation with Germany. Poland was split by the Reich and the Soviet Union.

Germany began invading many more of their neighbors. By 1941, Germany occupied or was allied with almost all of mainland Europe.

In 1942, the United States had war declared on by Nazi Germany and imperial Japan. The United States (because they are the United States) started pushing all the other enemies back into their home nations.

In 1943, the allied powers invaded northern Germany.

The rest of the war was slowly pushing back Germany and Japan (sorry Italy you didn't really do much) and eventually 'Murica and their friends won the war.

World War Two shaped a lot of the world as we see it today, and has great influence as we remember the millions of people that were killed in the war.

This is not to forget what happened to people in the war that were non-combatants. Many people were killed or close to death during the holocaust. Basically, Germany was crippled  under the Treaty of Versailles from WW1. Germany's economy plummeted and its moneys's monetary value plummeted. I t took you about $100 for bread.  Germany was angry and led a attack into Poland.
