          - Whenever Darius and Stephen Kellner want to stop talking about a subject they just say I love you and then stop  talking about it.
- Darius was very sad because of what Sohrab said to him, so his dad went and talked to him and told him that he was very depressed a while ago and had to be on super strong medicine that made him like a zombie and that's why he stopped telling Darius stories when he was little. Darius starts to understand why his dad is like that now and he is starting to like his dad. PG. 285 - PG. 286
- Laleh: (Darius's little sister)
          - Darius loves his sister very much but he is afraid to admit that he does. Darius hangs out with her, plays dolls, and has tea parties with her all the time. This means that he is a very good brother. PG. 16

Chip broke his bike. Chip put truck nuts on his bike and took the wheels off and put them in the bushes. Darius didn't find the wheels so he doesn't have a bike anymore. PG. 10  Chip also broke his backpack in school when he was walking he pulled on it and it broke. Now Darius has to use his dad's backpack when he goes to Iran which he doesn't want to do because he doesn't like his dad.
