In her speech, she gives several examples of girls not being confident in themselves and the things they do, and that girls strive for perfection to often. Her stories about the coding program she started give recounts of the girls being afraid they won't get the codes right and being afraid of not being perfect. She also tells about her friend, that is a professor, experiencing the struggles of girls thinking the failure to code something right means that there's something wrong with them.
