In a command economy the government controls where everything goes they control the price of the product as well which means the government puts the resource wherever they think it would be the most useful.

For example, food has more value to me than my phone because I'm not trying to die and my phone has more value to me than my bracelet. No, if there is a scarcity on pens, yes they would be more expensive but that doesn't mean they hold more personal value than it did before it was scarce. Value can be measured. Like I said before, somethings are more valuable than others. Some things are just more important than other things.

For scarcity it depends like I only have two parents if they die I can't get two more parents or the same as my friends I can get new friends but they won't have the same ideas and personality as the old ones. But materials such as water, food, a bed and a house and heat those are things you can replace but they're super expensive to. Even education is valuable without it you won't get very far in life. things that are scarce usually cost more as well.

I hold many things that are valuable to me, yes I do value my phone, It allows me to connect with people everywhere, and to read about things that I normally wouldn't know about. It also allows me to communicate with family and friends. As referenced in Document A, people in our society these days need to have many expensive or "necessary" possessions or electronics to be happy. I could definitely do without makeup, and some clothes, I only need comfy sweaters to survive, along with the basic necessities of course. Value is determined by how demanded the product is, or if a large group of people want this item. Value is measurable I suppose, simply because we put values on products all of the time.

In economics, if an item has a limited release or a low print run, there will be more people who want it, but fewer people who can have it. Things that I need in order to have a "happy and successful" life would be the basics, shelter, food, water, and everything like that, but some needs that I absolutely need in order to be happy, are probably people around me. Yes I want the people around me too, but I wouldn't be happy and I wouldn't see any point to do what I was doing. Things I want, I consider those things as in things that make everything easier, like my phone, i did without it before i got it so i could probably go without it, it would just be a little getting used to and just understanding why i don't have it.
