    Just like superstition,  religion is unknown to Huck and he doesn't seem to buy into these invisible forces such as prayer and superstitions that Widow Douglas and Jim are expressing. Huck is not fully invested in the spiritual world and that is apparent even when Tom talks of the imaginary elephants and A-rabs that visited his band of robbers. Even though Huck has an incredible imagination, he is unable to take serious the practices of faith and belief in something that is not tangible.  Religion and superstition are both something like a blur to him and it is not registering that there are truly consequences for breaking the rules of either.

    Huck does not believe Jim's superstition until something bad actually happens to him. Jim told him not to touch the snake skin because it is bad luck and that has to do with religion because in some religions if you do a certain thing it brings bad luck. For example in this case Huck touched the snake skin and Jim went to lay down to go to bed and he got bit by a rattle snake.

    Huck and Jim share a bond. They live together and they do everything together.     With Huck not believing in religion, Huck's belief in superstition is non existent. A general fact about Huck as far as religion wise, Huck doesn't buy into beliefs of far as super natural forces. Huck thinks both superstition and religion as similar meanings.

    Miss Watson tells Huck to pray, but Huck is very confused about religion and doesn't understand why people pray so much but then don't get what they want.

    Huck ignored Jim's warning about touching the snakes skin because it'll bring bad luck and they didn't needed bad luck because they already had enough to worry about .  Huck doesn't believe Jim about bad luck because he's just a kid . It's significant because Huck did not listen to Jim's warning.
