The book i am currently reading is Men of War the author is ivan brandon tom derenick. The book has looked good so far and I like the drawings in it. My favorite part is when the sergent was talking to the soilder in the office.

The conflict going on between 2 characters is the sergent is yelling at the corporal. They are fighting because the corporal said something to make the sgt mad. The evidence is the pics of the sgt yelling at him and the corporal saying im not done fighting yet sgt.

The character i found most intresting was the corporal because he shows he is dedicated and a true soilder for his army. I dont think there is anything I can compare him to.

the reason I started reading this is because I love basketball and Larry Bird was one of the best back in his day.

the most minor event that has happened is that larry bird fell in love with basketball by being picked up and asked to join. How the story has been affected by this event is that he fell in love with basetball ever since that event happened.Since then he has been practicing basektball he joined his schools basketball team and joined varisty his sophmore year.

I think the main character Larry Bird would go as his self in his basketball joursey. The reason that I think this is because he loves basketball. Also another reason why bird would choose this is because he loves to play and he has played it for years.

the setting now is at a college bird went to. He does not enjoy living here. The reason he does not like being there is he feels mistreated. The setting is causing limitations bc he isnt playing how he thinks he should be able to be playing.

it makes me think the dedication that it takes to become pro in basketball and all the grind and effort to be able to play in the NBA.

The reason I started reading this is because I love to watch and play basketball and I used to watch Magic Johnson Highlights when I was younger and he is a inspiration to me in the scheme of basketball.
