The band Play Center is simply about making modern garage post-punk and punk music. Rock and Roll in its most pure form started in garages and in the small clubs of America. We believe through all the eras of rock, the most rocking bands and performers kept it simple. Play Center embodies the best era of Rock and takes it back to the play center garages. Influenced by 90s grunge, punk rock, post hardcore, and 60s garage, Play Center uses fuzz bass and sonically distorted guitars to create a whole new form of what has been, but is today. If you dig 60s garage, 70s punk, 80s pop rock, 90s grunge, and 00s indie rock, you've found your band for the new generation.

Founded by bass guitarist Kevin Lee, Play Center has humble garage studio beginnings that quickly turned into studio recordings, a collaboration with a good friend Mars Rodriguez, and a full length studio record. Later drummer Nick Moore, already in punk band Lethal Tender, came in to play drums. Weeks later Harry Jingles answered an ad, and the group was formed. Kevin, still recording in the studio, brought in lead guitarist John Thornhill for the studio lead guitars on Moving On. Final entry into the band is young Andy, Andrew Kendall, a clone of Thornhill to play leads on stage. Driven by the influence of bands like Sonic Youth, Guided By Voices, and various styles with punk attitude, Play Center is a new force in the Atlanta rock scene. !!

CDs and digital downloads available on
www.playcenterband.com ,
store.cdbaby.com/cd/playcenter4 ,
www.amazon.com/Moving-Play-Center
.spotify.com/artist/playcenter

I-tunes, Pandora, and……

MEDIA ALERT
Contact: Kevin Lee
Fifth Dimension Alien Records/ Publishing
670 Hunterhill Way
Roswell Ga 30075
T: +1 678 643 3777
Manager@playcenterband.com
www.playcenter.com
