Learn. Educate yourself or our self about HIV: what it is, how it is transmitted, how it is treated, and how people can stay healthy while living with HIV. Having a solid understanding of HIV is a big step forward in supporting your loved one or anyone. This is a good place to begin to familiarize yourself with HIV by learning what is it. Knowledge is empowering, but keep in mind that your friend or anyone may not want the information right away.

Listen. Listen to your loved ones or someone who's having HIV and offer my support. I will reassure them that HIV is a manageable health condition. There are medicines that can treat HIV and help them stay healthy.

In this, open-mindedness regarding this should be applied and be emphatic to the patients who are diagnosed with it. Encourage these people that they have others who accept and believe in them. Advocate support and care for those who have HIV or STIs. Then, to minimize the spread, it is best to gain knowledge about it and apply to everyday life. Knowledge is good but actions to give a halt to discrimination and to minimize the spread is better - rather the best.
