Nevertheless, the majority of the Japanese generals supported the BPUPKI. In the end, they were forced on doing the meeting in Admiral Tadashi Maeda's house. Here, Sukarno, Hatta and Ahmad Subarjo wrote the proclamation text of independence. Then, Sukarno read it to the members of the PPKI and the youth inside the house. Later that day at 10 AM WIB, Sukarno read the proclamation text of the independence of Indonesia to the citizens. The speech was read in Sukarno's house and the Indonesian flag, knitted by Fatmawati, Sukarno's wife, was raised. Because of that, Frans Mendur (the younger brother) buried the negative of the photo in the Asia Raya office yard. Everyone spread the independence of Indonesia.
