         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Lord of the Flies is similar to The outsiders because in lord of the flies is tough because all the boys have to survive off the island, in the Outsiders, they are tough because they are in a gang and have gotten used to living on the streets and fighting . <br><br>It is also similar because they both show leadership towards their group and tell the right from wrong, They are both scared and frighten of what the future has to lay upon them and they do not want to face it, 2 characters died *Piggy and Johnny* in the book.</em></strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Analysis: (Why is it important? What did it represent in the novel?) The theme I chose was Jacks mask because it is a prominent throughout Lord of the Flies as it accompanies his descent into violence and savagery. This use of hiding behind a mask while doing harm to others is also an issue in real life, as it is present in cyber bullying. In the novel the mask represents jack being a stranger, it liberates him from his sense of self. <br></strong><br><br></div>]]></description>
