WeChat is a free application that provides instant messaging service for smart terminals on January 21st, 2011 by Tencent. USAGE – How/why do you use this app/site? Is it used for school? Is it used in your personal life? Is it easy to use?

How: Download the app on the phone or open the website. Then log in and enjoy what we like by searching tags, accounts and names and content of work. If the users like the posts very much, they can write comments, press “like” or “recommendable”.

Why: Because people who have the similar interests can share their ideas by Lofter and find something that we do not know or understand before. Also, people can contact to the users that we want to talk to as well.

Schools do not officially use Lofter. However, it could be used for study. For example, students can search some study skills and solutions for questions that are explained in details and if they are still very confused, they can leave comments under the posts or chat to the author privately. In addition, most of them are encouraged to post their notes, textbooks, etc. to show their positive attitude and inspire themselves and other users to work hard.

Also, we can use Lofter in personal life, especially for interests. For example, photography, as one of the most popular tags, has been followed by many users. Although some of them are not very good at it, all followers enjoy the beautiful photos and some will give some suggestions.
