Before I could even find their repertoire, I saw four Star Wars advertisements on their homepage. They are definitely performing popular music to attract more of a modern audience, but in my opinion, I would have to say that the score from the Star Wars franchise is now cannon since it is such a popular series, with an amazing soundtrack thanks to John Williams. I love the Star Wars movies and soundtrack, so that is the type of music that I would enjoy seeing live. My second choice of orchestra was the Dallas Symphony Orchestra since it is local, and by no surprise, I saw an ad for their performance of Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark on their homepage.
