5 THINGS I HAVE LEARNED FOR TODAY:

1. In writing the results portion, it's important to keep in mind that we should avoid adding your opinion or side comments to the research findings and make sure that each piece of information or finding is clear and organized.

2. Thematic analysis is used for qualitative research as it focuses on themes, patterns, and meaning within the data set.

3. The inductive and deductive approaches are opposite to one another. Inductively, we used the data to determine your research theme or findings. While in deductive reasoning, we already have expected themes or findings before we start.

4. There are seven steps that are used to write thematic analysis. The following are: familiarization, coding, generating themes, reviewing themes, defining and naming themes, evaluating and revising, and writing up.

5. I learned that in writing thematic analysis. There are sequences in the structure of thematic analysis. First is the introduction to your analysis, then the methodology to explain the process, followed by results and discussion of the findings, and at last is the conclusion.

1. I learned the in doing thematic analysis, theres a distinction between the deductive and inductive approaches. For inductive approach, it identifies the data to determine the themes that uses in research while deductive approach is based on the theories or exsisting knowledge that is more likely to have a predetermined knowledge on a specific theme.

2. Also, I learned that in coding, using codes or code name in a specific words may help doing the thematic analysis to describe it's content.

3. For reviewing themes, the researchers must ensure that the information, themes or aspect from the data is accurate and adjust that to improve utility and accuracy.

4. Defining and identifying themes will help to clarify and understand the meaning and context of the words and phrases.

5. In writing the thematic analysis, there are four steps to consider; Introduction, Methodology, Results or Findings and Conclusion.
