When working with this group the most effective leadership style to use would be participative leadership (Cherry, 2023). The group participants are dealing with anger management, and they need to be part of the process and come up with a plan that will work for them. If a leader tried to come in as an authoritarian, I believe the group would tune the leader out and no progress would be made (Cherry, 2023).
