On Mondays and Thursdays lunch at 13:00, but on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays lunch at 12:10.
Right after school I stay at the school door just to chat with friends from school or outside.

·       Regardless of which Salvador beach you choose to spend your day in, the beautiful landscapes are guaranteed. We recommend the Ondina beach known for being part of the carnival circuit.
·       Another interesting point is the Teatro Miguel Santana, where the Balé Folclórico da Bahia.
·       Also be sure to visit the Fundação Casa de Jorge Amado.

Eat.

·       Take the opportunity to have long and leisurely meals in the Porto do Moreira restaurant, to eat a good seafood stew.
·       Close to the Elevador Lacerda or in the region Pelourinho, be sure to make a “strategic stop” at the A Cubana ice cream parlor.

I’m back.
Anne: Oh my God Mia! When did you come back from Spain?
Mia: Oh I arrived on Saturday night.
Mary: We missed you! You need to tell us how was your exchange year.
Mia: It was amazing, for real. At first I felt kind of uncomfortable because I wasn’t able to
speak well their language, so the communication with my classmates was difficult. But while
the time was passing by i got used to speak spanish, they helped me a lot.
Mary: Were they nice to you? Like your classmates and your host family.
Mia: Yes, they were! They are really nice people, and they like to teach you things about their
culture. They have really different habits haha For example, they eat lunch just after 2 p.m.
And sometimes they don’t eat a full meal, sometimes they eat just a snack. Also my host mom
was really sweet and she gave me everything I would need for a comfort accommodation.
Anne: I’m jealous, I WANT THAT TOO!
Mia: You should try it someday, it’s a real life changing experience. Living in another country
and being a foreign in High School is really funny and you can learn how to be an autonomous
person.
Mia: I need to go now...
Anne: Before you go tell us how are the subjects.
Mia: They are basically the same we have in here, but some classes more dynamic. Also they
have some special classes, i had one subject, where we basically needed to build wooden
objects, the class had a lot of materials, like wooden boards, hammers, wood saw, nails, etc.
One day my teacher told us to build a wooden gate that used a crank to open, it was a real
mess, but really funny.
Mary: I need to go in a Exchange program NOW.
Mia: Bye girls!
