I'm a project researcher for a construction company. I work for the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters. I conduct industry, corporate, economic, and political research using a wide variety of sources. One, in particular, we practice psychology through construction safety. I had read an article years ago about behavior-based safety. In the article, ”behavioral-based safety is a type of behavioral psychology that helps construction managers identify behavior in order to reduce injuries.” The article "What Construction Managers Should Know About Behavior-Based Safety" explains about the misconception people see in construction. Construction is not all about the hands and tools but mostly about the way we think in order to construct. The article addresses the importance of having better training and safety signs to avoid workplace accidents.
