We got power after like 3 hours, still it was the longest 3 hours ever. It was so cold I had to stay under like 5 layers of blankets. Sadly at my uncle's house they had NO power for 72 hours! that's almost 3 days! I eventually went back and we went sledding. For some reason yesterday our power went out again! we have no idea why.. That was my experience with no power and alot of snow. yea and also we had water and gas so we could use the stove and what not which is good. We got power after while and when I asked to go to my uncles they had no power still. Luckily it turned on after like 10 hours and funny enough on the 23rd the power went out at my uncle's house AGAIN even after the power was fully restored which was super weird I was confused. Luckily it wasn't as bad as last time and it only went out for 30 minutes. During the storm, he sat by our backdoor trying to get heat through the crack in the door. I left our shed door open with a little heater for him, but he never went in there. I even cut up bloody hamburger meat for him, since they are carnivores. He didnt eat it. :( He made it for six days, sitting by the back door. I found him on the seventh day, frozen. :( I was so sad. Eventually, we used all the propane and my dad had to go on a hunt. He went to many stores but finally he found some. The bad thing was that the dude that was selling the propane only took cash payments because of the power outage. When my dad got enough cash, the dude said "no propane for you" which meant we still had no propane.
