         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a state court. The first trial in the Eleventh Circuit Court said that the search of J.L. violated his fourth-amendment rights. The case was appealed to the Third District Court of Appeal and they disagreed with the first trial. J.L. then appealed to the Florida Supreme Court. The outcome of that trial wasn't disclosed.</div>]]></description>

         <title>The Case of the School Newspaper: Overview</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Two articles from a school newspaper called the "spectrum" were found inappropriate by the principal of the high school. Both of the articles were related to teen pregnancy and divorce. The case was eventually brought to court by the students. The US district court concluded that the students had the right to do this with their First-Amendment rights. The high schoolers appealed to the court of appeals for the Eight court and it was concluded that the rights of the students had been violated. The schools also appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.</div>]]></description>
