I am a Spanish teacher at Flint Hill ES. Joining this amazing project was the best decision I could have made. As a Spanish teacher, my goal is to provide meaningful experiences for my students, and I’m proud to say they are learning the language through real, impactful connections. I’m fortunate to collaborate with a Colombian partner teacher, and together, we meet regularly to share ideas, plan activities, and exchange experiences with our students, all in support of our project.

Our objective goes beyond learning Spanish; we are working on a project that can make a lasting impact on our lives. We are collaborating with four groups of 6th-grade students, and we’ve chosen SDG 15, focusing on composting and using it in our school gardens. We are partnering with our school Principal, the GO Green Team and the Outdoor Specialists, who are supporting us throughout the project. This is our first year, and we are excited to continue this journey in the future.
