He won 2 gold medals in the pentathlon and decathlon. In the summer of 1912 olympics. He finished first in 8 of the 15 individual event, including the discus throw, the long jump, the highjump and the 200 meter dash. This is one of my favorite olympic moments because of how he can finish first in 8 of the 15 events.

Then when he was only 250 meters from the finish line he tore his hamstring, but he got back up and started to hobble towards the finish line. His father fought through security to help his son finish the race. This is my favorite moment because he didn't give up when he tore his hamstring he kept going and finished the race with his dad.

In the 2016 olympics Joseph was representing Singapore and beat Micheal in the 100 meter Butterfly. Michael did not mind losing to him because he was the one who inspired him to do great things. This is inspirational for me because it shows you can always make your dreams become a reality.

 were at 3,000 meters in the 5,000 meter race in the Rio 2016 olympics and they collided, Nikki fell down and Abbey saw that Nikki was hurt. so she stopped and helped her up. This is my favorite olympic moment Because, I thought it was really cool that even though they were from different countries the US runner helped the girl up when she could have gotten ahead in the race.

It was the U.S men's volleyball team playing for bronze against russia's olympic volleyball team, the US was down 2-0 sets and there weren't looking to good some of them were even convinced they weren't going to get the bronze medal, but they came back! They won the bronze medal, they pushed through,  their energy came out of nowhere! To me this is awesome because I play volleyball and I know that when you're down by a lot it can be hard to get yourself and your team to be positive and to be confident and finish out strong.

But in the end USA came up with the gold. I picked him because almost every year he almost beats bolt just like in the olympics but what I think is so good about it is that it shows that you won't win every time and that you're not the best at everything.But you can’t just give up and stop trying you have to push your some to be the best and be great.But to do that you have to want it.
