Every day that they stayed two monks would bring water and other goods. One day while the monks clean and oiled Dobbin's M-60 machine gun, Dobbin's said that even though he wasn't a religious person and he hated the sermons. He thought that it would be fun to join the church since he enjoys interacting with people. Kiowa says that even though he carries a bible everywhere since he was raised like that, he would not like to become a preacher, but would still like going to church. When the monks finish cleaning Dobbin's gun, he wipes off the excess oil and hands them each a can of peaches and a chocolate bar. Dobbin made a washing motion with his hands, and he says that all one can do is be nice to them. 

I choose this chapter because i have a religious background like Kiowa.
This chapter was included in the book because it shows us what they did and how they survived. It teaches me how the soldiers got along during the war and how the people from Vietnam got along with the soldiers.

And he wants to go home and doesn't care how much money for a aeroplane ticket because he doesn't have time to take the fast train. 
2) I feel like this song as anti-war song because he want to come home from the war because he got a letter from his "baby".

They had limited but important goals. On Dec 20, 1920 the new united front was created called the national liberation front(NLF). And anyone could join as long as the front was opposed Ngo Dinh Deim and wanted to unify Vietnam. Government officials in Washington claimed that the front was not what they said. And that the Non-Communist people were Communist dupes. After a while the government started to called the group "Viet Cong" as a slang word meaning Vietnamese communists.
