  1. When providing evidence, do not use extensive examples, long quotes, etc. Be concise and brief.
  2. Carefully read the essay assignment. If it is too long, split it into logical parts to work on the assignment in blocs.
  3. Do not provide examples from other people’s experience. Relate the examples only to your personal life.
  4. Use transitions to connect ideas and paragraphs in a logical way. Transitional phrases will make your essay seem smooth and coherent.
  5. Make sure you have a separate body paragraph for a separate idea.
  6. Use only reliable, credible, and updated sources for supporting your ideas and arguments.
  7. Reference all the sources you are about to cite in text.
