Rose: During the break I went to a really good restaurant and after headed over to Pinion Hills to the snow.
Thorns : My dad got very sick and was transported to the hospital by himself since there is no one else aloud with the patient.

One rose or positive thing that happen to me is I get to spend my whole break with my family and enjoy the holidays with them. One thorn or negative thing that happen to me is all my relatives thought it was a good idea to throw a party and they all ended up getting Covid-19.

The rose is that I got to get some fresh air outside by taking walks through the woods more often. It helped me reflect on life experiences whether they were positive or negative.
The thorn is that there was no New Year's countdown this year, the holiday spirit was nonexistent.
