I had with me a copy of the Sept 1957 issue of 'Dublin Opinion'. The cover cartoon showed Ireland as a mature, but still attractive lady, consulting a fortune-teller and admonishing her: Get to work! They're saying I've no future'.
As so often with humorous journals. 'Dublin Opinion' had caught and vividly expressed the mood of the moment.
