In the song it mentions, by Burr "I’m with you, but the situation is fraught" and then Hamilton says, "Burr, check what we got... I'll make y'all proud" referring that he will make his friend group proud. The friend group includes Burr into it. Burr was with him all along, but Hamilton didn't like Burr even before they became friends. He wrote letters about how negative his opinion was about him. He then later says he supposedly was going to make Burr "proud" Hamilton back stabbed him.
