An act of kindness I witnessed at CLA were the teachers taking time at the end of the day to help students who need extra help. I want to give a shoutout to Ms.Hyunh since she always has a great kind vibe during her class time that makes everyone love her class. One way I'd be an ally to the LGBTQ community is by helping spread awareness and being there if someone has trouble speaking about their sexuality or preferred gender. This week during Respect for All, I learned just how much society can be nasty towards most groups, and how much the people in these groups go through due to being mistreated.

An act of kindness I witnessed at CLA is both students and teacher helping others when struggling, even on their free time. I want to give a shoutout to Mr. Rubenfeld because his class always makes me feel comfortable and he puts music at the beginning which creates a nice environment and vibe to the class. One way I could be an ally is by helping my peers when they're confuse with the work and the teachers not available. This week, I learned that there's a lot of disrespect in society and not everyone is accepting. There's a lot of people who are disrespectful to others because of their race or skin color and its truly disgusting how their behavior is based on how different others are.

i have seen several instances where students lend eachother pencils and stuff and thats pretty cool since it shows we have eachothers backs even if its just something minor. shoutout to abraham gonzales and ms. matthews. i will be an ally by helping my friends with some questions they may have about homework or anything in general since learning is a lot different now than it was before

I just want to say thank you to all the staff and teachers at CLA. With this whole remote learning and everything that is happening, us students can see that you're trying really hard to make it a good year for us and making classes fun as well. To be honest, I'll treat anyone with kindness. I don't care who you are, how people think of you but always remember, I care for you and will always be on your side. I don't care how you look or the way you act, I will show you love and support. Be confident, stay strong. However, for the people that I do know, thank you. Thank you teachers for being there for me. I used to be a student that always used to misbehave, never focused however, as I grew older I became more independent. I finally saw the reality part of life. I understand how life is when you're not surrounded by unwelcome individuals.
