Mevlevi mosque burned.The mosque was rebuild by Sultan Abdülhamit. This place was closed with a low on 30 November 1925 and it was opened again as a museum 30 December 2008. Sucuk is kind of meat product that turkish people eat fondly. Sucuk is made for centuries in afyon . Sucuk is made of meat , oil , and some spicy . Sucuk has a flavor it owned . And it s flavor is more different than kayseri sucuk s flavor.

Turkish delight that is traditional turkish dessert has spread around the world from turkey. Turkish delight that there are several types of such as nuts, rose ,fruits, walnut, almonds, and cream , is produced expertly in afyon. Also turkish delight is the best gift you wanna take to someone while you go to host family in another city.

Ofium is grown in afyon. and our city s name is taken from this plant. turkey s only morphine factory is in afyon. morphine is made of poppy plants. also some kind of meals are made of poopy . for example katmer. katmer is populer baked goods in afyon.
