Some major physical chracteristics of the area are the Andes Mountaines, the Amazon River, and Machu Picchu. If you want to go to a destination where the weather is hot and dry, this is the place. Not that much rain falls making the area dry and humid. Since the Andes Mountains are near Peru, the area is also very mountainious.
