No tourists, no noise, nothing.

I went to Postiguet Beach. Empty.

Then I saw a sign: “Today, Alicante is only for locals.”

At first, I thought it was a joke. But then I realized… it wasn’t.

I called my friends, and we spent the whole day exploring the city like never before. We laughed, ran, and enjoyed every corner without crowds.

That day, I understood something important: sometimes you need to rediscover your own city to really love it.

Maybe it was the wind, or maybe it was the silence. As I walked along the old stone walls, I noticed something I had never seen before: a small wooden door hidden behind some bushes.

Curious, I pushed it open and stepped inside. A dark tunnel stretched in front of me. My heart was beating fast, but I kept walking. Suddenly, I heard a voice.

“Welcome, guardian of Alicante.”

I froze. “Me?” I asked, looking around.

There was no answer—only a soft glow deeper in the tunnel. I took a deep breath and smiled.

I guess this summer is not going to be boring after all.

My City, My Adventure

Every city has a heartbeat.

Some beat quietly, like a secret.

Others echo across the world.

I stood on the edge of my city at sunset, watching the streets glow like constellations. In that moment, I realized something simple but powerful: my city was not alone. It was connected to every other city, every other life, like invisible threads woven around the planet.

Far away, on the other side of the world, a fisherman prepared his boat as the ocean whispered stories older than time. In another country, a woman walked through a crowded market, carrying hope in her hands and determination in her steps. Somewhere else, a child looked up at the same sky I was watching, wondering what adventures waited beyond the horizon.

Different languages, different faces, different lives.

Yet the same sky.

The same dreams.

My adventure began the moment I understood this connection. Traveling was not only about moving from place to place, but about seeing the world through other eyes. Every city taught me something new: courage, kindness, resilience, curiosity.

From glowing skyscrapers to quiet villages, from busy streets to silent deserts, humanity moved together like a living map. Men, women, children all writing their own stories, crossing paths without ever meeting.

And there I was, one person in one city, part of something endlessly bigger.

My city was my starting point.

The world was my adventure.
