Decide how to break up the topic and order of presentation. Decide how long each member speaks for. Time management. Problems might occur with two members repeating the same information. Need to coordinate efforts. Also with this style the presentation runs the risk of becoming a series of unrelated bits unless the group plans careful transitions between each segment. As a person is closing their argument they could introduce the next person and topic. It also helps if the presenters refer to each others ideas – this way the group communicates the ‘connectedness’ of their material. 2) Panel A Panel is an interactive format. A moderator poses questions or makes statements to the group, and group members discuss. The idea is for the members of the group to have a discussion before the audience for the benefit of the audience. 3) Debate You can arrange a pro/con presentation in which members of the group are split. Some present information in favour of a particular issue, while the others in the group present the opposing side. We can all think of questions which will elicit the best response from the class on Marxist insight into Avatar. 4) PechaKucha 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each whilst additional information is given out in form of a narration. For our alloted time we could complete two of these presentation encompassing Marxism and Avatar and then move onto the debate portion.
