If one treats everyone the same based on your own beliefs, then one lacks equity. We have to start from the top and work our way down. You have to model what you preach. Our priority is our students, but teachers need to feel supported as well. Even though there are few, Metz does have teachers of color and Hispanic origin the same that need to feel that they are being addressed with respect as well.
