A transfer student came to school today, so I approached him to get close to him. But this friend is showing something uncomfortable. Because his expression didn't look very good, I couldn't approach him easily. After a few days, I courageously approached him and talked to him. But I talked to him from behind as if he had already expected, and he said hello without panicking at all. I don't know how he expected me to be, but he seems very nice So I went out to eat and watch movies with him on the weekend and met friends on the street who I hate, and his expression suddenly deteriorated. I thought he had a sensitive personality. And my close friend Jack wanted to play with a new friend, so we met him and went to a cafe together. While we were having fun talking like that, I felt something was strange because a new friend felt like he already knew the other person's heart when the other person was talking. So I asked Jack to follow me to the bathroom and then then I asked him to lie.And we started talking again and started telling lies, and the new friend realized that what we were saying was a lie and got mad and told me not to lie. So we asked him what he did because he felt like he already knew what we were saying, and he was actually a shaman.

It's getting cold around the river when the night comes, so I think I need a light for not getting cold. And food is packed to get some energy. Because without energy, it is easy to get sick and lastly The reason I need a knife is to survive if I get stuck in a dangerous situation or easy to cut or make something too.

In the first week of winter vacation, I went to Sapporo in very cold Japan with my friends. I was leaving on December 15, but I was very nervous because we bought travel plans or plane tickets 4 days before departure. My friend didn't even have a passport, fortunately, when he went to City Hall and made a passport, it came out in 3 days and received it a day before departure. And we finally got on the plane to Sapporo then it took more than 3 hours to arrive in Sapporo. We went to a restaurant because we were hungry. So I went all the way to main street in Sapporo. So we ate Gyukatsu, it’s like Japanese fried beef with Curry. And it was pretty good. And we moved to Airbnb’s room and then me and my friends took a shower and went to a convenience store. I thought Japan's convenience stores were not better than Korea's but I was wrong. Japanese convenience stores are crazy. There's a lot of food, chips, etc like even there has living supplies. Especially i love tuna onigiri. It was way better than Korea. I really love it. Anyways we had little snack time and got to sleep. And other days we just took a trip all around Sapporo. We went onsen and many beautiful places because it snows a lot in Sapporo and Sapporo is famous for its beer because of its very deep history there. And we went casino but it’s not real casino it’s like legal gambling like that and I entry to Korea and rest of whole day I spend time on stay in Wando.

I was born in the 21st century, but one day I woke up to find myself in the 16th century. Some People call me familiar, but I don’t know them at all. I woke up and looked around and there was no cell phone, no electricity, and people were wearing really old-fashioned clothes. I felt something was wrong because the way people talk was old, and there was nothing modern about cars, electricity, etc. So I noticed that I was back in time and told people that I was from the future. Then all over the neighborhood was rumored to be from the future, and again, people didn't believe it. So I told them things that happened historically, and I showed them the look of the latest fad words or modern objects.

Title of Your Essay

Sehyeon Jang
07/04/2025

I. Introduction

Do you want to hear about the life of a boy who grew up in a bad society? Then maybe the book I'm introducing today will be very interesting. It's about a boy who tries to live morally in a hypocritical and discriminating society.

Background info

Published in 1885, Huckleberry Finn's Adventures is a book set in the pre-Civil War era and the slavery that was legal at the time. The novel is about a rebellious and curious Huckleberry Finn who runs away from his abusive father and meets Jim, a slave who he meets, and travels with him.

Thesis statement

The book shows Huckleberry Finn's moral change that slaves feel the same person by expelling slaves and that slavery should disappear and shows the change of friendship.

II. Body Paragraphs
As Huck and Jim's friendship deepens, you see his racist ideas and moral notions develop.Huck has been abused by his father, so he runs into Slave Jim as he walks around the street trying to avoid his father, saying he can no longer live with his abusive father. So he goes around the street with Jim the slave and finds himself in a dilemma whether he should send the slave back to his master or give the slave his freedom. So he decides to go on a journey with Jim the slave. That's how they go through a lot and Jim feels that he is a friend, not a slave, and Huck thinks that slavery should be abolished. That's how we see his moral ideas develop.

A. First Main Point (Topic Sentence)
1. "He used to always whack me when he was sober and could get his hands on me; though I used to take to the woods most of the time when he was around."(The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Chapter 6)

2. he grew up with bad dad so he tried to escape that his home and he met slave Jim and he thought playing with slave is bad because at that time slavery was legal so no one play with slave but he breaks the rule he trip with Jim and build friendship and he realised that slavery is bad so he wanted to Jim that what freedom is so he tried to change a sense of citizenship and world.

3. This turning point in Huck’s thinking sets the stage for..

B. Huck’s rejection of societal norms

1. In Chapter 16, Huck considers turning Jim in but ultimately decides not to, saying, “I was paddling off, all in a sweat to tell on him; but when he says he’s doing it for his family... On the way, I felt a presence behind me. I turned around, but no one was there.

I went back inside and continued studying, but something felt off. I looked behind me again—still nothing. It started to really bother me. This kept happening over and over, and eventually, out of frustration, I shouted, “Is someone behind me?”

Just then, as I glanced down at the book I was reading, I saw the words:
“Someone… is behind you.”

Startled, I suddenly woke up.
It had all been a dream.

Do you want to hear about the life of a boy who grew up in a bad society? Then maybe the book I'm introducing today will be very interesting. It's about a boy who tries to live morally in a hypocritical and discriminating society.

The book shows Huckleberry Finn's moral change that slaves feel the same person by expelling slaves and that slavery should disappear and shows the change of friendship.

And Just as Huck and Jim are judged by society for their friendship, Romeo and Juliet are also criticized by society. In Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, the two fall in love despite a serious conflict between their families. They were forbidden from love just because they have rival family names. This is similar to how Huck should not be friends with Jim just because he is a slave. Both stories show how the main characters challenge society's prejudice, believe that they are right, and prove that they are. It also shows how unfair prejudice in society can harm good people's relationships.

he grew up with bad dad so he tried to escape that his home and he met slave Jim and he thought playing with slave is bad because at that time slavery was legal so no one play with slave but he breaks the rule he trip with Jim and build friendship and he realised that slavery is bad so he wanted to Jim that what freedom is so he tried to change a sense of citizenship and world.

He feels that Huck and Jim are getting closer and his feelings are different from the moral point of view that he originally knew, and Huck realizes that Jim is just like himself, not slaves, and his choice to protect Jim is that slavery should be abandoned and changes the social definition of agriculture. It shows the power of their friendship and how that bond drives Huck's personal growth.

This moral turning point is in the second half of the novel, feeling that Huck's strongest decision is to abolish slavery and trying to show people that he's right.

This quote marks the climax of Huck's moral journey. Both The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Romeo and Juliet show how society can be unfair, but brave individuals like Huck, Romeo, and Juliet still choose what they believe is right even if it's hard.
