But sometimes I have to watch a movie over and over again to notice every little detail. In a book, there's nothing that can really catch your eye, with color or sound or anything. So, I'd rather read a book because they're more detailed & longer.
P.S. The point of a book/movie is kind of to look in on the characters' lives, right? One example, I own the book "IT" by Stephen King, the book is over 1000 pages long, whereas both movies "IT" and "IT Chapter 2" are just shy of 6 hours combined.
