global warming is causing most glaciers to shrink, some glaciers in certain regions may still be growing due to things like increased snowfall or colder temperatures in that area. , and the overall trend worldwide shows glaciers are retreating as a result of rising global temperatures.

Even though global warming is causing most glaciers to melt, some glaciers are still growing in certain places. This can happen because local weather can be cooler or get more snow, which helps glaciers grow for a while. Also, short-term weather changes might cause a glacier to grow temporarily, like if there's a lot of snow one year. But in the big picture, most glaciers around the world are shrinking because of global warming. So, while some might grow, it doesn’t change the fact that most glaciers are still melting.

Most glaciers are shrinking or disappearing. and based on data through 2022 and 2023 the climate glaciers tracked by the World Glacier Monitoring Service has lost a volume of ice that they stated was " equivalent to nearly 26 meters of liquid water roughly the same as slicing 28.6 meters of ice off the top of each glacier." Melting glaciers and ice sheets are the biggest cause of sea level rise in recent decades also found this information by the world glacier monitoring. Glacier loss is a serious thing to natural and human water supplies in alot of the world.
