I often say that Kati deserves combat pay for dealing with some of the things she is faced with every day.  I won't go into more detail than that...everyone can use their imaginations.  In addition to her regular duties, Kati goes above and beyond to help her fellow workers with technology.  She helps make sure her coworkers are able to complete their safe schools training each year; she troubleshoots password issues for her coworkers, and she makes sure email is accessible for them.  She does all of these things with a patience that I admire combined with such a positive attitude.  We are lucky to have Kati as our custodian because she does an incredible job, but she deserves this recognition because she truly goes above and beyond each and every day.

I have also watched him teach this semester and I'll be honest, I never thought health could be interesting, but he engages his students, both blended and traditional, and he makes the content relevant and fun even. I am truly inspired by his way of teaching to take some of his tricks and tools and implement them in my own classroom.

I am fortunate because I can speak on this from two viewpoints. First, I was his student back when I attended school here. Back then, he had such high expectations of his students (including myself). His expectations seemed almost unattainable. I did not realize it back then, but it prepared me for my future and taught me to hold myself and others to higher standards. Now, he is my work colleague and classroom neighbor. I'll admit, I thought I was on a reality TV show when I found out Mrs. Taylor put our classrooms next to one another. I thought, "surely this was a joke". Mrs. Taylor obviously knew what she was doing though because he has since become my best friend, my work dad, and my confidant. He deserves this honor and so much more. He is the teacher of a lifetime and students who have him are lucky to have him (even if they don't know it yet).

Mrs. Sticht goes above and beyond the basics of what the job of a teacher entails. She makes it clear to all of her students, despite her tough love, that no matter who you are or what is going on, she will always be there to support you with whatever she can. She helps students with homework they don't understand, comforts them any time they need it, keeps students on track, validates and gives affirmations to students every single day, creates a team-oriented atmosphere, and has fun with everything she does. Not a day goes by where Mrs. Sticht doesn't help everywhere she goes, Mrs. Sticht has become my second mother.

I am nominating Tori for always coming to my rescue with everything this school year! She has endlessly helped me with sharing assignments, submitting grades, etc.. Tori also kindly allowed me to utilize her classroom during prep due to floating this semester. For that, Tori is deserving of this award!

Mr. Callis started teaching this semester the Dual Credit World History course.  He spends upwards of 20 + hours outside of school working on his lesson plans, conversing with students, and holding evening writing/research workshops.  His dedication and desire to be an effective teacher continues to be demonstrated through his hard work and the care he has for each of his students.  How fortunate Stratford is to have him as a teacher.

Grades. Need I say more? Tammie Mallard is so awesome and every time progress reports or report cards are around the corner, she is so on top of it. I appreciate all she does for us with PowerSchool and her willingness to help anytime I mess something up with PowerSchool. She's the best!!!

I admire guidance, and I want to recognize Mrs. Glaze. I have been working with her on MTSS for 10th grade this semester, and I have also had a few of my students under her. Seeing her in action is unreal! She is so incredibly dedicated to the kids at Stratford and it is so amazing. She works so hard and she cares so much. Mrs. Glaze is the best!

PJ is always willing to help out no matter what.  With the clerical shortage we have had this year she is the first one to jump in and help.  She surely is a Jack of all Trades
