SAM MAJOR

Sacrificing her 3rd block planning to help teach the face to face Leadership kids with me so we can still have our Leadership class.
-Meg Ward

RICKY REYES

For sacrificing his 3rd block planning to help teach the face 2 face Leadership kids with me so we can still have our Leadership class.
-Meg Ward

ANN EDWARDS AND AMY SAVAGE

They are always so welcoming, helpful and happy. Makes mine and the students day so enjoyable and inviting to be in the Media Center
-PJ Batts

ASHTON REVAN

This is my first time ever teaching Economics in this already difficult year with everything that has been going on. She has helped me through every single day of instruction and made my life 100x easier. I am extremely grateful to have her help and can't imagine how stressed out I would be without it.
-Steven Behringer

CHRISTI PITCHFORD

Mrs. Pitchford is a reliable, engaging and an effective SPED teacher. She continues to adapt and overcome daily obstacles while keeping the students engaged. As one student said, "You're my favorite teacher and nice too!"
-Melanie Hook

MELISSA ROONEY

Rooney has been a wonderful mentor. She never hesitates to help when I need it. She is a joy to be around and is very encouraging.
-Tara Stevens

COACH MANCHESTER

Always has my back and keeps me grounded! He is so organized and keeps a smile on his face!
-Tracy Fowler

ANNE HALLETT

She is always sharing helpful resources and offers help whenever I need it. She also took on a new math class and I commend her for doing that on top of all the other "new" things this year!
-Sam Major

KATIE CHRISTOPHERSON

She is a breath of fresh air. Always willing to help with anyone with anything and anywhere. She is an amazing person.
-PJ Batts

KATIE CHRISTOPHERSON

She has always been joyful in the work that she does. Every time I see her, she has a smile on her face. Even after cleaning up extremely messy boys bathrooms. She always bring light to my day and finds a way to cheer everyone up that she comes in contact with.
-Tara Stevens

KATIE CHRISTOPHERSON

I often say that Kati deserves combat pay for dealing with some of the things she is faced with every day. I won't go into more detail than that...everyone can use their imaginations. In addition to her regular duties, Kati goes above and beyond to help her fellow workers with technology. She helps make sure her coworkers are able to complete their safe schools training each year; she troubleshoots password issues for her coworkers, and she makes sure email is accessible for them. She does all of these things with a patience that I admire combined with such a positive attitude. We are lucky to have Kati as our custodian because she does an incredible job, but she deserves this recognition because she truly goes above and beyond each and every day.
-Amy Savage

NICOLE VON MUTIUS

She has done a spectacular job making sure all classes are covered even with the HUGE shortage of substitutes. She is ON TOP of it and came up with the most organized system to ensure all students have a place to go without teachers having to lose their planning periods. I am so thankful for her!
-Sam Major

KATIE CHRISTOPHERSON

Kati does everything she can to keep our school clean. She always has a positive attitude and does everything she can to help others!
-David Fleck

JOANNE DEW

Joanne is somebody who cares about students.
-David Fleck

MOLLY TAYLOR

She’s always trying to make class fun and she’s an incredible teacher
-Amjed Yacu

MR. ARTZ

Mr. Artz is a great teacher and is always there for you when you need him no matter the problem. He will help you in anyway he can!
-Antonio DeGuzman

MRS. WALLACE

She has help our 1st block chorus a lot. She has worked hard to get here and she is 1 of 2 people who encouraged me to join choir.
-Eugene Clarke

MRS. STICHT

She cares about the students and makes teaching and makes learning enjoyable and does it in a way that is easy to understand.
-Lillian Hansen

VICTORIA DOUGLASS

Her class is the only class where I genuinely do not feel stressed or pressured. The atmosphere of the classroom is so chill and welcoming, it's a breath of fresh air whenever I walk in. The assignments are long and complicated but the open and friendly nature of the classroom makes it so much easier to handle the class. She treats us like normal people with opinions and thoughts and listens to us, rather then treat us like unintelligent children who are a waste of her time(which I think is a very good quality in an educator). She talks with us, makes us laugh, laughs with us, and just makes the class so much more enjoyable.
-Mackenzie Brown

MRS. HALLETT, MR. FLOYD, MRS. GLAZE

Because they have all been there to help out when you needed it and great at doing their jobs.
-damarius anderson

MS. WALLACE

She has been so amazing to all of the chorus students! Especially because she has to teach extra at the moment. I love her class so much! I'm so glad I had the opportunity of being put into her class this year!
-Jensyn Follett

LAUREN JORDAN

Mrs. Jordan has been my DECA advisor for the last 3 years. She has been such a role model. She cares so deeply about her students. She has sat down with me and listened to me rant, seen me cry and been there for me. She doesn't get enough recognition. So Mrs. Jordan deserves faculty member of the month!
-Kiley Allen

ANNA WALLACE

She stood in for Mrs. Nix while he was gone
-Olivia Bryant

MS. PENLEY

She is constantly going above and beyond her duties as a one on one aid. She helps me with everyday classroom activities and deserves to be recognized for her extra effort!
-Riley Finch

MR. REYES

He has shown me kindness from the first time we met. He is always ready to help others and has a smile on his face. He is genuine and has one of the biggest hearts. He constantly involved in all things Stratford and makes coming to work fun. He also doesn't like pickles, I love pickles, and he gave me 2 pickles and you have to respect him for that.
-Maddie Latham

MR. LAWHON

He floats into my room during my planning period and he makes sure he asks me (and his students) every single day how we are doing, and it is not just a casual "how are you" he genuinely cares and you can tell because he looks you in the eye and actually listens to your response. I have also watched him teach this semester and I'll be honest, I never thought health could be interesting, but he engages his students, both blended and traditional, and he makes the content relevant and fun even. I am truly inspired by his way of teaching to take some of his tricks and tools and implement them in my own classroom.
-DeAnna Murray

MS.HODGE

Every time I've reached out to Ms Hodge about a student's attendance, she has been quick to respond and in most cases is already aware of particular issues and has gone above and beyond to reach out to and connect with students about their attendance issues - whether it be sending social workers to homes, or contacting guidance or parents.
-Kingry

MS. KERBER

She is a rockstar ESOL teacher and the best co-teacher! I would be lost without her!
-Jenna Conner

MR. EDWARDS

I am fortunate because I can speak on this from two viewpoints. First, I was his student back when I attended school here. Back then, he had such high expectations of his students (including myself). His expectations seemed almost unattainable. I did not realize it back then, but it prepared me for my future and taught me to hold myself and others to higher standards. Now, he is my work colleague and classroom neighbor. I'll admit, I thought I was on a reality TV show when I found out Mrs. Taylor put our classrooms next to one another. I thought, "surely this was a joke". Mrs. Taylor obviously knew what she was doing though because he has since become my best friend, my work dad, and my confidant. He deserves this honor and so much more. He is the teacher of a lifetime and students who have him are lucky to have him (even if they don't know it yet).
-Caitlin Demers

NURSE COOK

I am nominating Nurse Cook because she impresses me daily with how she has adapted to what has unfortunately become the "new norm" in the Stratford clinic. I especially appreciate how she checks in with me in the mornings to make sure I am aware of which teachers are out, which has proven to be tremendously helpful in arranging classroom coverage.
-Nicole

OFFICER CONRAD STAYTON

I am so glad that we have Stayton here at SHS. He has been a great influence on my son and other students. I have watched him work with students and truly care about them as he works with Police Cadets. He is always there when we need him!
-Chrystie Sticht

She cares about the students and there education. She finds fun ways to teacher her lesson and her teacher is very effective.
-Santi Gilliard

MS. So if you win, Mrs. Ward, congratulations, and thank you for your selfless commitment.
-Carson Ledford

MS. MAJOR

Mrs major has stepped up and took on the big job of leadership this semester. Helping Mrs. Ward co-teach leadership. Mrs major has made a huge impact in the classroom. She is someone that works so hard and deserves recognition.
-Kiley Allen

MS. Mrs Temel cares so much about her students and will always reach out and be understanding to whatever it is her students are going through.
-Kiley Allen

MS. TAYLOR

I had her as my speech and debate teacher last semester and it was always the highlight of my day. No matter what we were doing she always made it fun. It was a great class and shes a great teacher.
-Kameron Koehler

MR. He knows how to make his class fun and exciting. He includes himself in the lessons and games making the class more fun to be in. He is very cool to talk to and appreciates his students. I thought he should be recognized as a great teacher at Stratford .
-Gracie Harper

MR. FLOYD

Mr.Floyd greets his students with a simile. His classroom is a fun place to be in to learn. I am nominating him for his fun classroom and ready to teach everyday.
-John Dorkewitz

MR. We’ve had lots of bumps in road, but even despite that she still manages to encourage and congratulate us on our accomplishments. She takes the time to listen and get to know us. I appreciate all the things she’s done for our leadership class this semester!
-Bri Killingbeck

MRS. EADY

I had Mrs. Eady last semester for English 4 and she is by far the best student I have ever had. She is one of the most understanding teachers I have ever had. She makes school fun.
-Theresa Veronee

COLONEL BLANTON

I nominate Colonel Blanton because he strives to motivate his students and he goes the extra mile to help anyone out.

MR. SMITH

This teacher has made this class one of the most exciting classes that I've taken during my high school career, no matter what happens, he is never in a bad mood. HOWARD

While we she was teaching English 2 she taught us not only in a way that made us remmeber the information, but also in a fun way. She understands her students and really lets you know she cares. While this 2020-2021 school year has been anything but easy she always made sure to bring a smile to everyone's face and checking to see where everyone is at mentally. You didn't feel like a lot of pressure was put on it, but we all still got work done while still maintaining a happy positive attitude. I really looked forward to her classes :)
-Adrionna Hughes-Victor

MR. He “knows how to make his class fun and exciting,” and he “includes himself in the lessons and games, making the class more fun to be in.” That student has also said that he “is very cool to talk to and appreciates his students,” and thought that “he should be recognized as a great teacher at Stratford.” Another one of his students has said that he “is such a chill teacher,” and that they are “actually learning in his class.” One of his peers, Ms. Lindsay, has commented that he “is always sharing how he integrates new learning techniques to meet the needs of his students. He never discusses the rough moments, but is always ready to focus on the positive and what is going right. He is quiet, but very caring about others. You could walk into his classroom and find it sparkling and orderly! This individual is a joy to work with.” Congratulations to our Faculty member of the month, Coach Jones!

I'm so impressed with how she has has been able to incorporate blended students into the news. He is always such a positive force to the students and staff around him. His choirs respect him and work hard to create great music with his leadership. It is truly a privilege to be his partner in Stratford Choirs.
-Ms. Wallace

MS. OSTERMAN

She is sooooo helpful with all things money. She has been so forgiving when I (a newbee) makes mistakes. She is definitely the glue that holds the school together. On top of that he coaches me during the baseball season too!
-Josh Davis

MRS. She makes it clear to all of her students, despite her tough love, that no matter who you are or what is going on, she will always be there to support you with whatever she can. She helps students with homework they don't understand, comforts them any time they need it, keeps students on track, validates and gives affirmations to students every single day, creates a team-oriented atmosphere, and has fun with everything she does.
