- Consulted Tiff Radmore on how to pick, told her I can see myself in multiple projects, she said that's actually not bad at all and I probably won't be disappointed with what I get. She recommended that I rank the ones I like in order of preference and bid accordingly. 
- Met the same girls I met last week + a few more students from MA in applied psych. Another good night! 
- I wanted Yoox + Net A Porter / Flair Fashion - and they were available when I booked, but because the internet crashed when I clicked on REGISTER, they were gone by the time I filled out the form the second time 
- Picked New Enterprise and immersive publishing. - A lot of people were quite furious with their groups, I guess Tiff was right. It did benefit me that I was able to picture myself in multiple briefs! I was fine with what I got, which is New Enterprise. 
- I know nothing about starting a business, in fact whenever someone asks me if id like to start something of my own one day, my answer is always a straight NO. 
- Connected with my group members, we are supposed to meet before our first consultancy next week. SO HAPPY we are all in London. Ahh, such good luck. - This was mostly like a meet + greet 
- We all just spoke about who we are, what we've done so far, why we are doing the course we are doing, and a lot of generic things like that, but it was good because I got a first feeler of how I felt about my team members - all positive vibes! 
- We met our supervisor Charlotte Henson. We told her that none of us really had any business ideas so we didn't know where to begin so she gave us a bunch of ideas of how to start.

I recommended 3 ideas, I had a lot more ideas but I didn't want to dominate the group padlet with my own thoughts, as I was also the first one to post. When I did, I think the others got a notification so they texted on WhatsApp saying they'll add their ideas too. 
- We discussed our ideas and pitched it to one another, we decided to also want to discuss this with Charlotte and ask her how to go about it.  
- Charlotte had really great advice, she said you need to answer the question WHY, why are you recommending what you are, what problem are you solving. 

She recommended thinking about our own consumer experience and think about what ANNOYS us, what makes us HAPPY - and start from there.

We are going ahead with the subscription box idea. TBH I liked all my ideas so I am happy either way. The most exciting part of the experience is actually that I didn't think Id be able to come with even one idea. So I am very happy.

Unfortunately Charlotte's father passed so she had to take a break from UAL related activities. Im glad that she sent an email to us too about it because it was a personal emergency - that's not something one has to share with students, but it makes a lot more sense and reduces any doubts when people are transparent. There was some reshuffling for the groups that were under Charlotte's supervision, so we got the lead Supervisor for New Enterprise - Carla Frith. 

Carla is quite nice, I like the way she conducts her consultancies. She really puts a theory in context of its application, ive come across the same models in MASFM but she explains them with a lot of clarity. 

From week 8 onwards, now that are business idea has been developed, we focused on the operations, marketing strategies and other aspects. There is research required from our end and every week Carla leaves us with a little bit of homework to do. So we all kind of divide things between us and report back to each other. It was interesting, I worked on things like the customer profile, the entire value proposition canvas and the revenue and cost structure for the business model canvas. 

For the final week before the presentation, we got on a Teams meeting and literally drafted a script and visually created our presentation on the call. We also managed to rehearse on the same call! TWICE.
