    • Prospero has the most accurate perspective in the story because he can see people for who they really are negatively and positively. This impacts his actions because he knows the things people can do, he acts out of fear and only cares about things that can concern him.

    • Miranda has the least accurate perspective because her dad has hidden her for all of her life and taught her biased opinions. She doesn't get to form her own opinions, she just inherited her dadas. This impacts her actions because all she knows is her dad and his beliefs, this causes her to be very innocent and naive because she has no perspective on the real world.

Caliban begins to worship and serve Stephano because he has alcohol. Caliban has a perspective of anyone with alcohol being rich and praised. Caliban sees Trinculo's alcohol and says, "These be fine things, an if they be not / sprites. That’s a brave god and bears celestial liquor. / I will kneel to him" (Shakespeare 2.2.120-122). Caliban has a perspective of needing to praise and warship Trinculo because he has alcohol. However, his perspective is altered and invalid because he only knows one mindset. Caliban has been traumatized throughout his life though his mother dying and his actions toward Miranda leading to his punishment. Caliban assumes that who ever has alcohol must be superior and be praised. In conclusion, Caliban has an inaccurate perspective because he treats Trinculo like a God, even though he is a butler who possesses alcohol.

    In Act Three, Caliban has the perspective of violence being the only solution through his past. Caliban was left on the island when his mother died and moved in with Prospero, he then tried to rape Miranda and got enslaved for his cruel actions. Caliban says, "I say by sorcery he got this isle; / From me he got it. If thy Greatness will, / Revenge it on him, for I know thou dar’st, / But this thing dare not" (Shakespeare 3.2.59-62). Caliban keeps a consistent perspective toward Porospero's revenge because he made him miserable, so he is trying to seek this revenge by killing him. Miranda also has an altered perspective of reality. The first guy she has seen she immediately falls in love with. Miranda asks Ferdinand: "Do you love me?... [be] My husband, then?" (Shakespeare 3.1.80,105). Miranda has an alternative perspective because she was shielded by her dad for most of her life. She was the only girl on the island and her dad was the only man she saw. This affects her perspective because she falls in love with Ferdinand even though he is the first new person she has met.
