I’m 45 years young and moved to Ireland in 2000. I’m currently on a PT advanced Pastry chef course while working full-time. I use my phone as my main communication tool, both for research at work and for my course. Attending MS team meetings, uploading photos and videos to Moodle and sending emails as I do not own a laptop. I also use my I Pad to research recipes and do any assignments and use WhatsApp to contact the tutor. My results on the DSS have shown that my feelings vary a bit from my skills especial on Information & Data Literacy and more concerning in Safety.

I have a Macbook, I Phone and a home computer that I use for both work and college. My phone is a top of the range and can connect to the training kitchen TVs to watch video demonstrations or live stream our chef tutor demos to our social pages. I know my way around computers, apps and programs quite well and my DSS shows the same gaining nearly top makes in all areas with some more development on my problem-solving in areas that I intend on researching myself. I enjoyed completing the DSS as it helped to identify my needs

I am 30 and attending CETB to gain my qualification in Bar Skills FT. I’m pretty good around IT, owning a laptop, smartphone and tablet. I use pretty much all of these for my lessons depending on the need to write assignments, take photos or take notes quickly. I use a variety of apps and programs to make my learning easier and enjoy when my tutor uses technology in lessons as it's where I shine. My results on the DSS have shown that my feelings are like my skills except for my problem solving and I’m     intending on doing an IT course to rectify this in the future

I’m 33, from India and doing my Chef Apprenticeship in Cork. I have a smartphone, but I prefer to use the Windows laptop and its ecosystem of programs. They work with Moodle and MS teams from college perfectly for me, so I do not need anything else other than my digital camera to take photos of the food we make. My DSS results have shown me to be quite a high level other than my Information & Data Literacy, which I felt should be higher. I also didn’t think I would get such a high score in other areas as I wouldn’t be that used to using apps or other types of computers
