I personally feel that paper tests teach students how to study. With online tests, students know that they will have their textbook, notes, and the internet right there to help them. Paper tests teach good study habits and cut down on the cheating. There will be a few students that will cheat, but paper tests will cut down cheating as opposed to online tests. Teachers can use dividers in their classroom to encourage students to look at their own paper

I feel like with paper tests students are held to taking the test at that time and without the "help" of anything else. Online tests are harder to be sure all students are doing their own work

I feel that on timed tests, there can be an accumulative amount of time wasted on the quiz loading to the next question, or saving the answer, etc. I think that there are pros and cons to online tests. They certainly are convenient for the teacher and the students.
