It's a Philippines' styled roasted chicken restaurant.

The manager, Miss Nora, is very friendly and patient. She answered all the questions I asked, such as the background of the company and the signature flavour of roasted chicken. I met another floor staff today, Fatin. Both of them were graduated and no longer a student like me. They explained the menu and taught me what should I do today. I met two kitchen staffs as well, Nicholas and Keong.

The owner of the restaurant, Madam Hong, came today. She is the person in-charge who interviewed me. We chatted a little while as she wanted to know me more.

I'm still unfamiliar with the menu and anxious today. Perhaps tomorrow will be a great and smooth day to me.

Today, Mr Chan visited again. He came alone for lunch. He ordered a solo combo, Ninja Platter. After he finished his meal, we chatted for a while and returned him his Swarovski pen. He thanked us as it was his birthday present from his daughter.

Before leaving, I returned the apron to Miss Nora, the manager who treated us well, and took a group photo with all the staffs as well as the boss, Madam Hong.

This is a good experience for me to work in a self-service restaurant, Rooster Roast. I learnt the way of preparing ingredients for floor and kitchen used. We have a reservation of 25 pax. Besides, there was a batch of walk-in customers, 10 pax, approached at the same time. We were super busy and some of the side dishes were selling fast. We were all in a flurry at the time. As our restaurant is still new, the manager did not expect fulled-house customers. So, the ingredients were not prepare enough to cope the number of customers. 

We were all in a rush peak hour today. We are all tension, anxious and stressful at the moment. The owner of Rooster Roast, Madam Hong, invited Penang Holiao as a guest in order to promote our restaurant. It is a Facebook page which promotes food, places and happenings in Penang. They took photos and videos of the food and the environment. I was lucky enough as I was chosen to be their model when they shot a video of eating Rooster's Chicken Wrap, one of dishes in our menu.

This is my first time to be a model in an advertising video. Although they only shot the bottom part of my face a.k.a. my mouth, I am super excited. We were able to learn all breakfast menu in one day. It was quite challenging as we need to remember the ingredients and the steps of making the sandwiches as well as the Honey Dijon Sauce. It was not busy during breakfast time. But, the peak hour started for lunch time. Luckily, we were used to it and quite systematic. We did not flutter and worked gently. The customers also waited patiently without any complain.

It was a tough day to us as there were only two service crews and two kitchen helpers. However, we make it!! When Madam Hong reached, we told her the incident and she apologised for being late.
