At any time, contributors can review the history of the page they are working on or preview the Web page before publishing it. A wiki Web site operates on a principle of collaborative trust. The simplest wiki programs allow users to create and edit content. More advanced wikis have a management component that allow a designated person to accept or reject changes. However it is possible to regulate user access. (2)Open to SPAM and Vandalism if not managed properly. There are easy ways to restore a page however, and on WikiEducator you must be logged in to edit pages so this reduces vandalism by automated spam bots. (3)Requires Internet connectivity to collaborate, but technologies to produce print versions of articles are improving. The flexibility of a wiki's structure can mean that information becomes disorganized.
