Use contents lists given at the start of new units to revise from as tick lists.

Use Seneca as a revision tool to quiz.

Use past exam papers and mark schemes.

Mind mapping - create a mind map using notes from your course file, revision books or from SENECA Learning information pages.

Flash Cards - these can be useful when learning subject specific vocabulary. Key words on one side and their definitions on the other!

Past Papers - "Practice makes perfect!" An old saying but, practicing responses to different types of questions allows you to develop your technique and respond more fully!

Mark Schemes - used alongside the past exam papers, a mark scheme can help you to see exactly what the exam board are looking for in your responses.

Revision Guides - there are numerous revision guides available for the AQA FPN course. Choose one that suits you and your way of learning!

Be active with your revision - don't just read through vocabulary or speaking questions. Make flash cards, create gap-fill style activities, use a mini whiteboard and pen to practise writing your answers out from memory.

Learning grids or mind maps - create a learning grid or a mind map of key vocabulary from each topic area and use this to practise and revise key words.

Use Seneca and/or Quizlet - these are great sites to use as a revision tool and for self-quizzing.

Past papers - complete past exam questions for each skill (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Always make a note of the key vocabulary that is required to answer the question and highlight key words that appear frequently.

Pay particular attention to the adjectives, adverbs, connectives and conjunctions and short phrases sections as these contain lots of frequently used words and phrases.
