Though the Spanish civil war heavily involved two dissenting factions, both factions received much aid from foreign powers. It is evident that the aid offered had an effect on the war from the speed in which the nationalists conquered the south to aiding the republicans defend. Furthermore, we can't ignore the many volunteer soldiers from all across Europe who valiantly supported the republicans. Knowing that the help from foreign nations had an impact on the conflict, we would want to know to what extent did it influence the outcome of the Spanish Civil War

The Nationalists started out with smaller territorial control, Republicans held most of the power in the beginning. As the war progresses, the Nationalists received aid from other countries; an example of foreign intervention, with foreign aid, they were able to expand their territory.
Like the example given, foreign aid helped both sides to achieve their goals, and from time to time undermining their oppositions. The help from the foreign powers pushed the war into a bigger scale, causing tensions from neighboring countries, and is considered to many, a stepping stone towards World War II.

The Spanish Civil War, la Guerra Civil, took place between 1936 and 1939. Fought between the left-leaning Republicans and the conservative Nationalists, it was a struggle between democracy and fascism, with two revolutions . Despite it being a civil war, it was highly internationalized as foreign interventions played a major role in the events of the struggle, working not only on prolonging the duration of the conflict, but also giving the Nationalists an important advantage, ultimately leading to their victory in April 1939.

The Spanish civil war was a war underpinned by economic problems and political and social fragmentation of Spain at the time. However, instead of being just a rebellion from the right-wing Nationalists against the predominantly left-wing government, it became a full fledged war. This can be attributed to the foreign intervention, mostly from Italy, Germany and Russia, which supplied the Spanish with troops and military technology. Though both sides had received foreign aid, the stance of non-intervention taken by the majority of European nations worked against the Republicans by excluding the possibility of official support, notably from France and Britain. Meanwhile, Hitler and Mussolini had aided the Nationalists with hopes of acquiring an ally in Spain. Thus, foreign intervention gave the Nationalists an important advantage.

The Spanish Civil War was a war between the Republicans and Nationalists. With the prolonged economic, social and political strain within the nation, it led to the desire for change from both sides. Even though the war was contained within Spain, foreign interventions played a major role. The importance of foreign intervention manifested itself by the foreign aid from: USSR, Germany, Italy and the volunteers who supported the republicans from across Europe.

The Spanish civil war is clearly a fundamental and unneglectable chapter in history. The war was the result of the breaking point that led to the inevitable clash between the Republicans and the Nationalist. The war itself was well known for the ''theater of war'', due to the emergence of foreign intervention, most notably, the Western powers and the Facists. Considering the collapse of the Republic as the turning point in the war, it is reasonable to state that the foreign intervention especially the appeasement, had fostered the conditions and favored the advantages for the Nationalist over its rivalries

During the time period in 1936, Spanish civil war has started. There were two group that main involved in the fight; which were Republicans and Nationalists.
As the war continue, a lot of foreign intervention trying to either give support to their side or give some support and wait for the outcome. The statements that I choose which I think is the one possible is " Foreign intervention prolonged the war but did not influence its outcome." As the foreign aid giving to both side, but much more aid was giving to Nationalists. And it is part of the reason that during time pass along, the Nationalists has obvious huge territorial changes that shown on the map.

The Spanish Civil War was a conflict between the Republic and the Nationalist rebels in Spain. However, foreign intervention of the European fascist powers and the Soviet Union had quite an impact on the war. Especially the Nationalists profited from this, as they had good support from two powerful countries. Even if you look only at numbers, you can realise that two supporting countries instead of one made them have a good advantage towards the Republicans. This of course, is not the only thing. When the two sides asked for foreign support, the Republicans got their first aid five months after the Nationalists did. Additionally, they got “rejected” by the two countries they asked first, which were France and Britain (if not, the Civil War might have looked very different). The Nationalists however, got quick support in form of airpower. The air forces gave the Nationalists superiority and allowed the army of Africa a quick progress from Morocco up to Spain. Also, it was for the fascist powers, that the Nationalists were able to launch into a full-scale war against the Republicans, not only through the air force but also because they actually receives plans for the coup from Hitler and Mussolini and obtained modern, mechanized warfare which had been unprecedented in Spanish experience. This also caused, that the Republicans needed some time to rethink their resistance strategy.

The Munich agreement signed in September 1938 obviously wasn’t useful to the Republicans either, as it showed that the other European powers couldn’t be appeased (if there was no help for Czechoslovakia, there was no help for the Spanish Republicans either).

The Spanish Civil War between the right-wing conservative nationalists and the left-wing republicans from 1936 to 1939 started out as a conflict contained within Spanish political forces. The republicans seized control of the government and the majority of Spanish territory . However, as the war progressed, the support of foreign powers, namely the German Nazi and the Italian Fascist, for the nationalists gave them an important military advantage. Not to mention, even though the republicans were supported by the communist Soviet Union and International Brigade, they were shunned by other European powers, led by Britain and France, due to the determination to stop German expansion and the possibility of another large-scale war. Ironically, the isolation of the republican Spanish
, which worked on the nationalist's advantage, would only increase the Nazi influence and tensions in the area that result in total war later on.
